Contact our Lumineers Dentist Dr. Hang Le to see which options work best for your situation, both Porcelain Veneers and Lumineers can each dramatically improve your smile.
Before starting any treatment, there is a smile makeover consultation with Dr. Le to outline the exact procedure. Dr. Le is a highly skilled Veneers dentist and will usually create temporary veneers by hand to demonstrate the incredible improvement in your smile.
Porcelain Veneers are tooth-colored, and Dr. Le can custom match the shade of your veneer to that of the existing teeth to give a more natural looking smile.
Once your smile design is complete, an impression (mold) of your teeth is taken and sent to a lab where your custom-made Veneers will be created to match your teeth shape and color.
On your final visit your custom-made Lumineers® Veneers will be applied with little or no anesthesia, the tooth is prepared by lightly buffing and shaping the surface to allow the Lumineers® to fit perfectly with your other teeth. The Lumineers® is then placed on the tooth and secured permanently with specialized dental cement.
It is very important to take care to not abuse the veneers, as they can be broken or damaged if used incorrectly. We recommend that you avoid biting into foods that are hard or firm with your veneers to minimize shock.
We always recommend that patients with Lumineers® Veneers must wear a night guard to protect their teeth from grinding while sleeping
Lumineers® Veneers let you easily whiten your smile and straighten your teeth, but to keep them looking their best, you need to take care of them. Avoid foods or drinks that could damage your veneers, brush twice a day and see Dr. Le for you regular dental exams.
