Invisalign^® can correct the same dental problems as traditional metal braces for patients who have full adult dentition and complete jaw growth; the only difference is that Invisalign^® trays are almost invisible to the naked eye, and are removable allowing you to eat, drink, floss uninterrupted. 1.  Overcrowding – This occurs when there is too little space for the teeth to align normally in the mouth.  Overcrowding can cause tooth decay and increase the likelihood of gum disease.

2. These 3D images allow Dr. Le to move specific teeth on the screen, view the jaw from different angles, and also predict what your face might look like in years to come.  In essence, this technology can show how Invisalign^® trays will change the facial aesthetics, it is simply amazing.
3. Once the computer planning of your Invisalign^® treatment is complete, the specialized lab will make a unique set of aligners using a space-age material.  The total amount of aligners required will vary for each patient, and is calculated by the computer based on the amount of movement needed.

For most patients the first weeks are when they usually get used to the aligners. It is important that the Invisalign^® aligner trays are worn constantly, except when eating and drinking.

Dr. Le recommends that the trays must be removed when  eating or drinking to avoid getting food trapped in the tray which can causes tooth decay.

The great thing about Invisalign is that progress between follow-up appointments are clearly visible to the patient.

Post Treatment Retainers

Studies show that without retainers straightened teeth can gradually shift back towards their initial position. This is common with all orthodontic treatments and can easily be treated by Dr. Le with retainers.
